I can't believe this is the last color challenge for 2015! This week's colors are:
I used the December Stamp Of The Month, Candlelight Garden, colored with ShinHan Touch Twin markers in Peacock Green, Turquoise Blue, Leaf Green, Warm Grey 4 and Warm Grey 7. The sentiment is stamped using Pear Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. I added shimmer trim in White and Green to add a little element of shine to the card.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge: 172, Mistletoe Manor in White Pines Paper
We are featuring the White Pines paper packet colors in this week's color challenge:
It took me a while to finish my version of the Mistletoe Manor from SVG Cuts, but here it is. :-D I used Glacier and Chocolate cardstock for the house, roof and base. I used the White Pines paper packet, and added some Fern and Cranberry cardstock for the door/shutters and window frames. I added some Champagne Fundamental Paper for the roof design and shutter accents. I created my little Christmas tableau using White Pines Complements. The Red Enamel Gems and Bling Gems Gold Assortment were used as accents for the house and snowflakes. The roof was texturized with Confetti Embossing Folder, Snow-Tex and Snow writer Pen. I also added some Diamond Dust to the awning so it will have the effect of icicles.
We all look forward to seeing what you come up with, using the White Pines color combination. Come join our challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare!

Color My Heart Color dare Challenge #169
We have another elegant color combination at Color My Heart Color Dare!
I made a 5"x7" card using the Artfully Sent cartridge. I embossed the background panel with Floral Embossing Folder. The sentiment, also from Artfully Sent, was cut at 5 1/2". The cardstock that I used were Black and White Daisy. I added some pearls and foliage from my stash to add more texture.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #167
We continue to celebrate the beauty of fall with this week's colors:
I made a tag using a Sizzix die, and added some Chocolate Baker's Twine. I stamped the White Daisy Cardstock using Goldrush and Chocolate. The images were from Hello, Life Pocket Scrapbooking (retired). I cut a piece of Kraft Cardstock and added some Woodgrain washi (retired) to embellish the tag. I will be using this as my bookmark since I have this ghetto habit of just grabbing random pieces of paper or objects and using them as bookmarks. lol!

November Stamp Of The Month...Cheers 2016!
We are getting all ready for 2016 with November's Stamp Of The Month Theme. :-)
Cheers 2016 Can be yours for $5.00 with every $50.00 purchase, or you can get it for $17.95 at full price. Either way, this is a great stamp set to get if you're into planners or journaling!
I made a couple of cards to show an alternative use for the stamp set since we're a couple of months away from the New Year.
This would make a perfect graduation or a pick-me-up card. I used one of the 3"x4" cards from White Pines Picture My Life and stamped the sentiment with Cranberry Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad, second generation style (meaning I stamped it first on a scrap piece of paper before stamping it on the card), and Glacier Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. The papers are from White Pines and Zoe. I added a Red Shimmer Trim, and a sticker from Base and Bling Holiday Style Sheet (for who could resist an ice-skating polar bear?) and some Sequins Silver Assortment.
The second card is more simple, because I think the message itself is profound. The card once again is from White Pines Picture My Life, and I made a flag using New England Ivy cardstock. The background paper is from Zoe, tied with a Glacier Extra Thick Twine. I used Glacier Exclusive Inks for the sentiment and the stars. I added some White Enamel Stars on the left side of the card to balance the look.
Thank you for dropping by and happy crafting!

Nevermore...Color My Heart Color Dare Blog Challenge #164
We are featuring the Nevermore Paper Packet with pear as an optional color for this week's challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare:
I love everything Steampunk and was doubly excited when Close To My Heart released Nevermore. I knew I had to make a haunted cottage with it! I used Black Paper Cardstock for my base and inked it up with White Daisy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. I inked the edges of the designer paper with Cocoa Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. The windows had vellum under it. The roof was stamped with images from Steampunk Scoundrels. Now all my cottage needs is an electronic tealight and it's all set for Halloween! We are looking forward to seeing what you've created at Color My Heart Color Dare!

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #163
We are featuring even more warm colors for this week's challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare!
The card base was made using Kraft cardstock. The fox from Cricut Artistry cut at 2 1/2" was the perfect focal point for this card. I added some Sparkles Clear Assortments colored with a black sharpie for the eye. I also colored his nose with a black sharpie. I used paper from Sangria paper packet for the background, and added a sentiment from last year's Pathfinding Workshop On the Go (retired) stamped in Goldrush. A strip of Canary Chevron Fundamentals paper (retired) and a bow using Poppy Thick Twine added more color.

The countdown begins early at Close To My Heart with "Twinkle", the September Stamp Of The Month. It's available for $5.00 after a $50 purchase at my Close To My Heart website...a huge savings from the original price of $17.95!

I inked the stamp sets using New England Ivy, Glacier and Desert Sand Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. I punched rounded corners using the Corner Rounder Punch and added some Sequins Silver Assortment and a flair button from White Pines Assortment.
Do keep an eye for more Christmas crafting using this stamp set! I will be sharing more pics of Christmas crafting in the coming weeks!

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #161
Here are this week's color challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare:
I love the warmth of the color palette, and I also wanted to play some more with the September special as well as the Stamp Of The Month.
I added a couple of Cocoa Fundamentals Specialty "paper ribbons", stamped the flower with Honey Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad, and the sentiment with Cocoa Exclusive Inks. A piece of Poppy Thick Twine added even more color at the side of the card. I thought it needed a little extra, so I used some Bling Gems Gold Assortments as flower centers and as a "button" on the paper ribbon.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #159
Welcome to another Color My Heart Color Dare blog challenge! We will be featuring the beautiful colors from the Sangria Paper Packet this week:
I have been pretty active in FaceBook crafting swaps, and I do send some cards once in a while, so I am trying to build up my collection of cards that will be easy for mailing. Here is one example of it. I stamped the sentiment using the Stamp Of The Month for August (retired). I used Desert Sand and Chocolate Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads, and I also inked the edges of the paper with Mocha Pigment Ink. The Pomegranate Cardstock was embossed using Vines Embossing Folder. I could not resist a little shine, so I figured out a strip of Bronze Shimmer Trim would do the trick.

"Hello Life", National Stamping Month September Special
Close To My Heart is offering not one, not two, but three limited edition stamp sets to celebrate National Stamping Month.
Available only during the month of September, these exclusive C-size My Acrylix® Hello, Life! stamp sets can be purchased for $13.95 USD each! Or, for an even better deal, you can purchase all three for only $34.95 USD—a savings of $6.90 USD!
I combined some of the stamp sets to come up with my samples for this promotion. Hello Life- Pocket Scrapbooking focuses on those of us who love pocket scrapbooking, smashbooking and journaling. I stamped the images in the smaller 3"x4" pocket card with Sunset, Flaxen and Chocolate Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad, added some Sequins Gold Assortment and a zip strip from the Sangria paper packet. The 4"x6" pocket card had a love theme. I stamped the images with Black, Cotton Candy, Pixie and Ruby and fussy cut the edge. I then layered it on a Ruby Paper Fundamentals 4"x6" card.
I also made a layout using the Hello Life-Scrapbooking stamp set. I used the Sangria paper packet and a strip of Ruby Paper Fundamentals. The chevron "waves" were leftover cuts from another layout, cut using Eggplant Cardstock. I stamped the flowers in Ruby and Sunset, and everything else was stamped using Slate Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad.
I made a birthday card using the Hello Life-Cardmaking stamp set. I used Sorbet, Glacier and Sweet Leaf Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad and the Zoe Paper Packet for the 4"x6" card. A strip of Coral Shimmer Trim brightens up the look of the card.
As you can see, the stamp sets work better together, that's why I got all three! I can't wait to incorporate them in my journaling!

"Paper Garden", September Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop
Welcome to a very exciting Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop! This month is extra special because you will be able to see firsthand the new products from the Annual Inspirations Book. If you came from Darlys Recker's Blog, then you are in the right place! For a full list of hop participants, please visit Melinda's Blog.
I have been pretty active in FB swaps, and I needed some cards for my partners and for the recipients of RAK items. I made a couple of cards using Paper Garden with a sentiment thrown in from Hello Life-Cardmaking. I am also looking forward to fall, so I made the card bases out of Kraft Cardstock. The first card was embossed with Confetti Embossing folder. I fussy cut the flowers and arranged them to appear like they were also being tossed, like confetti. :-D All images were stamped using Cotton Candy, Canary, Pear and the sentiment was stamped using Juniper. I added some Sequins Gold Assortment for my flower centers.
My second card has a more fall feel with the use of neutrals. The colors that I used for stamping are: Desert Sand and Flaxen. I placed some Gold Sequins Assortment for added interest.
For more inspiration, please hop on next to Jean McNulty's Blog. Thanks for visiting!

Artistry "Little Man" Card
This week's color combination at Color My Heart Color Dare inspired me to make my boy-themed card:
I played with my Artistry Cricut Cartridge and cut the Sweet Leaf background at 5 3/4". The card measures 6"x6". The mustache was cut from Black Cardstock at 1" and the sentiment was cut at 2 1/2" using Pacifica cardstock. I added a Wildwood paper clip for a touch of Kraft color, White Enamel Stars and Enamel and Glitter Duos Green Triangles to complete my card.
