Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #208

This week's colors reminded me of a garden:

I decided to make one of the tri-fold cards from the Artfully Sent Cartridge (retired). I used cardstock in Juniper, Laggon and Thistle. The butterfly and the iris have pink sequin flower centers from Calypso Sequins Assortment. The white sequins I used for the flight pattern of the butterfly is also from the same sequin pack. I added shimmer trim in Purple and White for a little glam.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #207

Welcome to a sunny Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge! We are featuring the yellows+gold in the exclusive CTMH palette this week:

I decided to do a Flashback Friday post and give some love to a couple of retired CTMH stamp sets, Paper Birds and a stamp set from Art Philosophy Cricut Collection (retired). I thought that adding some bling and stamping the middle butterfly in Saffron would emphasize the message of uniqueness. The other butterflies were stamped in Canary. A mini staple was used to attach the sentiment flag to the card.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #206

We're continuing to enjoy the warm colors of summer at Color My Heart Color Dare with the warm palette of the Florence paper pack"

I still have the beach in my mind when I created another card. :-D I used the Beach Life stamp set, inked with Flaxen, Peacock, Poppy, Ruby, Saffron and Whisper. I added some Coral Shimmer Trim, Whisper Thick Twine, Sparkles Assortment and punched some Gold paper with the scalloped border punch to complete the beach theme.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #205

We are enjoying summer's fun colors at Color My Heart Color Dare:

I had too much fun going to the beaches this summer and I wanted to make a card that shows a beach scene. :-) I stamped the images from Beach Life with Juniper, Thistle, Eggplant and Crystal Blue Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. The card base was lined with a Paper Fundamentals in Eggplant. I added some white sequins from Calypso as accents.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #204

We have another fun color combination at Color My Heart Color Dare this week:

I made a card using the Artfully Sent cartridge, which will sadly retire this month. I used a piece of Eggplant Paper Fundamentals, and added a Sweet Leaf polka dot paper from the Zoe paper packet. The sentiment from Tickled Pink was stamped in Flaxen. I added some white gems from the Grey Enamel Gems pack to anchor the corners of the card.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #203

Summer is really here!!! This week, we are also featuring Sorbet, together with Crystal Blue and Canary. These are such fun colors celebrating summer!

I played with my Cricut when I made this card. I used the Artfully Sent cartridge, and dotted paper from Zoe, the teeny polka dotted paper from Penelope, and the zip strip from Magical. I just added some White Shimmer Trim and Silver Sequins Assortment, and also stamped a sentiment from a Cricut Collection stamp in Canary ink.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #202

This week's challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare features Close To My Heart's wide array of browns, and we are challenging you to combine Colonial White and any 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or all 6 of the following CTMH Browns: Cocoa, Chocolate, Saddle, Cashmere, Champagne and Desert Sand.

I decided to make a coffee-themed card with this week's colors in mind. I cut the coffee cup from the Artistry Cricut Cartridge at 2 1/2". I also added Kraft Cardstock for the cup holder and Black Cardstock for the lid, because I wanted to stay true to the coffee cup colors. :-D I stamped the strips of the following cardstock: Colonial White, Saddle and Cocoa with coffee cups using Chocolate Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. I added a sequin from Sequins Gold Assortment for the tag that was cut at 1 3/4" using Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. The images are from the Treats Of Friendship stamp set.
