Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #178

It's been a dark and dreary winter, so let's brighten the world with this week's colors:

I wanted to make a birthday card to celebrate those bright and happy colors. I used Pixie, Glacier and Thistle Exclusive Inks to stamp the images from Your Own Kind Of Wonderful and Documenting Moments stamp sets. The squares measure 1 1/2"x 1 1/2". I cut the Pixie Cardstock square framing the middle butterfly slightly larger. The background paper is from Zoe. I could not resist adding some Enamel Purple Hearts beside the sentiment.

Color My Heart Color Dare #177

Happy Friday everyone! I live a good 2 1/2 hours away from where it snows. I am still a fun of everything there is about winter...from Snowmen to snowflakes...hot cocoa...you name it! I made a winter card with this week's color challenge in mind.

The White Daisy Cardstock base, measures at 5 1/2" and was cut using the Artfully Sent cartridge. The Peacock and Whisper snowflake is from Artistry, cut at 2 1/2" and 2 1/4" and layered. I added some Sequins Silver Assortment and Grey Enamel Gems to my snowflake centers for added sparkle.

Color My Heart Color Dare #176

Welcome to another Color My Heart Color dare challenge! This week's challenge reminds me so much of film noir. I'm also featuring January's Stamp Of The Month, Beloved Bouquet.

I decided to make a tag featuring our beautiful neutrals. The images were stamped using the following ink pads: Black, White Daisy, Whisper and Slate. I used White Daisy Cardstock as my tag base, and covered it with a designer paper from La Vie En Rose. A piece of Black Shimmer Trim, White and Gold and Black and Gold ribbons and complete the tag.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #175

Winter's not over yet and this week's colors at Color My Heart Color Dare celebrates its beauty.

I made a pocket letter with these colors in mind. I used the cuts in page 49 in my Artistry Cricut Cartridge. The snowflake border was sized at cut to page and the other elements were cut at 2 1/4"--all using Glacier cardstock. The base is White Daisy cardstock embossed with Confetti Embossing Folder. I added some Silver Shimmer Trim, White Shimmer Trim, Sequins Silver Assortment and retired bling to complete my pocket letter.

Happy New Year from the Design Team at Color My Heart Color Dare! Let's start the year with a new color challenge!

I kept my card clean and simple for easy mailing. I used some Paper Fundamentals Adventure in New England Ivy and Poppy. I stamped the sentiment from Your Own Kind Of Wonderful with Desert Sand Exclusive Inks and added some Sequins Gold Assortment for that extra touch of bling.
