Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #178

It's been a dark and dreary winter, so let's brighten the world with this week's colors:

I wanted to make a birthday card to celebrate those bright and happy colors. I used Pixie, Glacier and Thistle Exclusive Inks to stamp the images from Your Own Kind Of Wonderful and Documenting Moments stamp sets. The squares measure 1 1/2"x 1 1/2". I cut the Pixie Cardstock square framing the middle butterfly slightly larger. The background paper is from Zoe. I could not resist adding some Enamel Purple Hearts beside the sentiment.

  1. Card is so light and airy, just like butterflies...ummm does that make sense? If not it means your card is very pretty and love the layering and simple embellishments you gave your card.

  2. Very nice card! Love how you matted the one butterfly and the heart embellishments are a great touch.

  3. Beautiful card, Peachy! I love how you matted only one of the butterflies. The Zoe paper was a great choice--I have to use that more often. Thanks for the inspiration.

  6. Your card is so pretty and soft. The paper choice is perfect for the butterflies. Matting just the one butterfly really makes it just right!
