I wanted to work with a lot of pink with this roses card from Artfully Sent, so I used Pixie and Hollyhock as my main colors. The image background was stamped using Hollyhock Exclusive Inks Pad and the sentiment was stamped with Pixie Exclusive Inks Pad. I added a piece of Whisper Cardstock on top of the frame that I had cut at 2 3/4" using the Art Philosophy Cartridge. I wove a piece of White Shimmer trim, and layered a couple more strips in the slots in the tag, to mimic ribbon. A strip of Hollyhock Cardstock was embossed with Diamonds Embossing Folder, to add more texture. To finish off the card, I added some Sequins Silver Assortment. There is no such thing as too much bling, in my book.

Love all the pink tones and floral accents on this card.
ReplyDeleteI love the rose border you used on the bottom of the card. It coordinates very nicely with the framed sentiment.
