Artistry "Little Man" Card

This week's color combination at Color My Heart Color Dare inspired me to make my boy-themed card:

I played with my Artistry Cricut Cartridge and cut the Sweet Leaf background at 5 3/4". The card measures 6"x6". The mustache was cut from Black Cardstock at 1" and the sentiment was cut at 2 1/2" using Pacifica cardstock. I added a Wildwood paper clip for a touch of Kraft color, White Enamel Stars and Enamel and Glitter Duos Green Triangles to complete my card.

This week's challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare spotlights the colors in the Zoe Collection:

I stamped some triangle borders from One-Way Borders on some White Daisy Cardstock using the following Exclusives Ink Stamp Pads: Sweet Leaf, Glacier, Canary, Sorbet and Slate. I added some Coral and Silver Shimmer Trim and Coral Reef Sequins. The sentiment is from Holiday Tags.

Framed-- August Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

If you came from Jenny Gilbert's Blog, then you are in the right place! Please visit Melinda's Blog to check out the complete list of blog hop participants.

I wanted to work with a lot of pink with this roses card from Artfully Sent, so I used Pixie and Hollyhock as my main colors. The image background was stamped using Hollyhock Exclusive Inks Pad and the sentiment was stamped with Pixie Exclusive Inks Pad. I added a piece of Whisper Cardstock on top of the frame that I had cut at 2 3/4" using the Art Philosophy Cartridge. I wove a piece of White Shimmer trim, and layered a couple more strips in the slots in the tag, to mimic ribbon. A strip of Hollyhock Cardstock was embossed with Diamonds Embossing Folder, to add more texture. To finish off the card, I added some Sequins Silver Assortment. There is no such thing as too much bling, in my book.
