May's Stamp Of The Month is "Just Sayin'". I was thinking that this is an ideal stamp set for the My Crush books and also for Picture My Life Cards. I know I will be playing with this some more.
Pocket letters have taken the crafting world by storm! They are basically ATC-sized cardstock or designer paper that you tuck into trading card pocket sleeves. There is a lot of artistic freedom in making them. I decided to make a pocket letter using Close To My Heart products, and most especially, one that features the Stamp Of The Month. I used the Blossom paper packet from Seasonal Expressions 2, and embellished the pockets with Blossom Complements, the black stars from Scaredy Cat Assortment, Chalk It Up Assortment, and for the goody giveaways, I added some Honey Triangles Washi Tape, Lagoon Hearts Washi Tape, Gold Polka Dot Washi Tape, Aqua Dots and Oceanside Sequins.
Your next stop will be to one of my favorites, Donna's Blog. Thank you and please visit again soon!
This blog is all about Close To My Heart products and promotions as well as a place to feature my handmade items for craft shows...

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #139
This week at Color My Heart Color Dare, we will be playing with the following colors:
Pearls are optional in this challenge, but I decided to add a line of pearls on the butterfly's body. I cut a piece of Champagne Cardstock at 5 1/2" using Artfully sent. I lined the cutouts with Sorbet Cardstock, and cut a butterfly at 1 1/2" using Art Philosophy. I also added some gold ink on the cutouts for extra shimmer.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #138
This week's colors at Color My Heart Color Dare are:
Bringing all the colors together was a fun challenge for me. Even more of a challenge was stamping directly on the cardstock. I was never really that much of a stamper before joining Close To My Heart, but now, I found myself stamping more and more. The stamp set is Have A Happy Day. The colors are bright and cheery and I needed an equally cheery stamp set to capture the mood. I added some Bling Gems Gold Assortment and pearls to the flower centers and a small butterfly from the Junebug Puffies (retired). The images were stamped using the following Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads: Smoothie, Sunset, Canary, Pear and Juniper.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #137
It's time for us to feature the colors for the Brushed paper packet at Color My Heart Color Dare.
For this challenge, I made a dressform using the Brushed paper packet, and Black Cardstock. The Pixie Cardstock was embossed using the Diamond Embossing Folder. I added vintage lace and a flower from Recollections to finish off the look.
We would love to see what you come up with using the color palette, so come join us at Color My Heart Color Dare!

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #136
I love the color combination in this week's color challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare:
I was excited when I saw the newest hostess stamp set from Close To My Heart, Paper Bird. I decided to make a notecard for a Gathering. I stamped and fussy cut a butterfly, added some Pixie Extra Thick Twine and Sequins Silver Assortment to the Slate Cardstock embossed with Floral Embossing Folder and called it a day. I love the feeling of spring this notecard reminded me of.
