"Paper Garden", September Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

Welcome to a very exciting Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop! This month is extra special because you will be able to see firsthand the new products from the Annual Inspirations Book. If you came from Darlys Recker's Blog, then you are in the right place! For a full list of hop participants, please visit Melinda's Blog.

I have been pretty active in FB swaps, and I needed some cards for my partners and for the recipients of RAK items. I made a couple of cards using Paper Garden with a sentiment thrown in from Hello Life-Cardmaking. I am also looking forward to fall, so I made the card bases out of Kraft Cardstock. The first card was embossed with Confetti Embossing folder. I fussy cut the flowers and arranged them to appear like they were also being tossed, like confetti. :-D All images were stamped using Cotton Candy, Canary, Pear and the sentiment was stamped using Juniper. I added some Sequins Gold Assortment for my flower centers.

My second card has a more fall feel with the use of neutrals. The colors that I used for stamping are: Desert Sand and Flaxen. I placed some Gold Sequins Assortment for added interest.

Artistry "Little Man" Card

This week's color combination at Color My Heart Color Dare inspired me to make my boy-themed card:

I played with my Artistry Cricut Cartridge and cut the Sweet Leaf background at 5 3/4". The card measures 6"x6". The mustache was cut from Black Cardstock at 1" and the sentiment was cut at 2 1/2" using Pacifica cardstock. I added a Wildwood paper clip for a touch of Kraft color, White Enamel Stars and Enamel and Glitter Duos Green Triangles to complete my card.

Framed-- August Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

If you came from Jenny Gilbert's Blog, then you are in the right place! Please visit Melinda's Blog to check out the complete list of blog hop participants.

I wanted to work with a lot of pink with this roses card from Artfully Sent, so I used Pixie and Hollyhock as my main colors. The image background was stamped using Hollyhock Exclusive Inks Pad and the sentiment was stamped with Pixie Exclusive Inks Pad. I added a piece of Whisper Cardstock on top of the frame that I had cut at 2 3/4" using the Art Philosophy Cartridge. I wove a piece of White Shimmer trim, and layered a couple more strips in the slots in the tag, to mimic ribbon. A strip of Hollyhock Cardstock was embossed with Diamonds Embossing Folder, to add more texture. To finish off the card, I added some Sequins Silver Assortment. There is no such thing as too much bling, in my book.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #151

Welcome to another fun Color My Heart Color Dare challenge! This week's colors feature the Seaside palette:

I am still busy with swapping pocket letters, so I decided to make an Ariel pocket letter using paper from Seaside. I cut Ariel using my Cricut cartridge, drew her features and colored her with Copic markers. I added a stamped sentiment from Treasured Friendship and embellished the letter with Gold Sequins Assortment and Seaside Assortment.

Color My Heart Color Dare #149

Welcome to another color challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare! We have a patriotic vibe this week:

I chose the card from page 40 of the Art Philosphy Cartridge, and cut it at 4 1/2". I added some Ruby and Outdoor Denim Cardstock under the star cut outs. I embellished the card (which I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder) with Red and Blue Shimmer Trim. At the bottom of the card is a strip of Kraft Cardstock and I made a bow using Cranberry twine.

We'd love to see your take on the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare!
