Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #137

It's time for us to feature the colors for the Brushed paper packet at Color My Heart Color Dare.

For this challenge, I made a dressform using the Brushed paper packet, and Black Cardstock. The Pixie Cardstock was embossed using the Diamond Embossing Folder. I added vintage lace and a flower from Recollections to finish off the look.

I love the color combination in this week's color challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare:

I was excited when I saw the newest hostess stamp set from Close To My Heart, Paper Bird. I decided to make a notecard for a Gathering. I stamped and fussy cut a butterfly, added some Pixie Extra Thick Twine and Sequins Silver Assortment to the Slate Cardstock embossed with Floral Embossing Folder and called it a day. I love the feeling of spring this notecard reminded me of.

I made this masculine-inspired card in keeping with the vintage theme. I used the houndstooth paper from the Paper Fundamentals Basics Assortment, some Bronze Shimmer Trim, and Red Enamel Hearts to finish off this simple card.

We have another elegant color combination this week at Color My Heart Color Dare:

I used the hostess stamp set "Better With a Friend" for my main sentiment. The background paper is from Yuletide Carol. I added some Gold Polka Dot Washii, Bronze Shimmer Trim which I punched using the Scalloped Border Punch and Gold Shimmer Trim for added bling. The scalloped square frame is a die from Spellbinders.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #134

We have another beautiful color combination this week at Color My Heart Color Dare:

With the exception of the Olive Cardstock strips punched with the Chevron Border Punch and the White Shimmer Trim, the custom designer paper is made with strips of washi tape--Black Arrow, Lagoon Hearts, and the retired Cotton Candy Polka Dots. The sentiment was stamped using the Have A Happy Day stamp set.

Color My Heart Color Dare #133...Wanderful

Here's this week's color inspiration from the Wanderful paper pack:

I made an accordion mini album using the Wanderful Paper Packet and the Picture My Life Wanderful Scrapbooking Program. The background die cuts are from Artbooking, cut at 6". For my embellishments, I used the scraps from the die cut background, Triangle Metal Studs, Honey Triangles Washi Tape, Lovestruck Mini Clothespins,Black Striped Twill Ribbon, White Shimmer Trim, Arrows Washi Tape and Ruby Chevron ribbon (retired). I used Hook and Loop Dots on the picture my life cards so that both sides could be used.

This week's color challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare is probably my favorite combination:

I wanted to play with my Explore some more, so I made this honeybee-inspired card. The card base is Black Cardstock layered with Whisper Cardstock. The background paper is from Heartstrings. I embossed the White Daisy Cardstock with Honeycomb Embossing Folder. The bee was embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I kept the embellishments simple by layering a Black Striped Twill Ribbon with a Slate Diagonal Striped Ribbon bow and placing a Silver Sequin in the center.
